Welcome

Welcome

The multi-award-winning Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals (BMDH) Expansion Project is changing the way we care for you.

It includes a major expansion of existing services to meet increasing demand and the creation of new services to reduce the need to travel out of the area for treatment.  The project also includes new clinical technology and a re-evaluation of how we’re delivering services so our facilities can support the best contemporary hospital care.  To make sure we get it right, we’re including staff, patients, carers and the community in our planning and design.

Stage 1 finished in May 2016 with the opening of the clinical services building at Blacktown Hospital. Stage 2 is now underway at Mount Druitt Hospital and Blacktown Hospital.
