Remembrance Day events

More than 2,000 poppies have been bloomed at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals as part of our community tribute for Remembrance Day 2018, the 100th aniversary of the end of World War I.

The project is part of the 5000 Poppies initaitive, a worldwide community tribute of respect and remembrance to those who have served in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations, their families and their communities.
