Community Dialysis Centre

A new low-rise, standalone centre will provide dialysis services close to home in a welcoming, friendly and patient-centred environment at Mount Druitt Hospital.

The community dialysis centre will help us meet the increasing demand for dialysis, and provide more services close to home for people in the local area.

The centre will include 12 spacious treatment bays with room for patients and a carer, garden views and dedicated parking with room for a community bus.

A comprehensive arts program, now well-established at Blacktown, will expand to Mount Druitt to help creat a facility which is welcoming and reflects local Aboriginal and community culture.

Home dialysis training and education will continue to be provided at the nearby Regional Dialysis Centre at Blacktown Hospital.

The centre will be located near the existing Dental Unit.
