Blacktown Hospital’s new Acute Services Building includes units for Birthing, Newborn Care and Maternity.

These have been designed by our midwives and medical staff with the help of mums who have been patients in our hospital.

Colourful artworks in waiting areas and room will make you and your family feel welcome in out new hospital.

Services will open in stages in 2019. Please check with your midwife for more information.

  • All rooms have an en-suite shower and toilet. Some rooms also have a birthing bath.
  • All rooms have a carer zone - a lounge which converts to a bed so your partner or support person can stay with you.
